Following the successful response to the first radio drama, "The Halloween Goblin," plans were made to do a second program. It was decided to make this an Audio Shadow adventure, with Doctor Madblood playing a minor role. With influences ranging from The Firesign Theatre to Bob and Ray, Jerry Harrell wrote the script for The Turkey Caper, and the Madblood gang again provided the voices. Jim Stanley worked his aural magic and The Turkey Caper premiered on WNOR-AM radio just in time for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Well Rob Floyd and his troops did it again. October 14, 2006 will go down as a day in horror host history. At Rob and his gang's third annual Monster Fest, which was once again held at the Chesapeake Public Library, veteran horror hosts like The Bowman Body, Count Gore DeVol, and yours truly sat down to a panel discussion with the new generation of hosts like Penny Dreadful, Dr. Sarcofiguy, and Karlos Borloff.

As this was a purely experimental devise, the good doctor elected to install and test it down in the basement. Just in time for his Thirtieth Anniversary Celebration, Doctor Madblood is now podcasting! In addition to his first audio podcast episode, there's also a video podcast for those of you with the new video-capable iPods. For those of us without iPod, these will run just fin on Apple's iTunes application. And just for fun, we've included a Madblood Mashup for all you New Schoolers that like a mix-up in your tunes - and this is a remix of the original. So stop by the Stuff page and download some new treats for Halloween!

Note: These are huge files intended for all of you with a high speed internet connection. Certainly the most famous place in Pungo is Madblood Manor where the good doctor can be found conjuring up his next adventure. Not far from the gurgling reaches of the Great Dismal Swamp somewhere within the deep recesses of Virginia Beach's lost lagoons sits this turn-of-the-century tribute to paradise lost, now with its stately facade from another place in time crumbling from the nearby swamp's murky, bubbling presence. This is a place where noisy scientific experiments and glass-shattering explosions from inside the house are usually followed with maniacal laughter. Who knows what's hiding in the bushes outside.

Nothing has had so much importance in lending to the general ambience of Madblood Manor than the "things" that grace every shelf, desktop, crack, and orifice in the good doctor's lab. This is a library of those "things," and their connection to why they exist on the set of Madblood Manor. Their origins can not only be traced to the twisted minds of the Madblood crew, but to his faithful viewers and fans----all of whom are obviously in creative sync with Madblood.

They lived in a rundown old manor house that sat perched on the edge of the Pungo Swamp...
