Hey Gang, I sure hope you will take the time to download the Madblood Manor tour a few times this month. We have all kinds of little treats for you to find. For example: In the music room you will discover a musical sequence featuring the original Madbloodmobile, the three wheeler Morgan. The footage is from an episode in the seventh season of our show on WAVY (circa 1981), when the program ran for half an hour prior to the movie. We created a three part story called The Creature From the Bleech Lagoon, which began with the series of shots you will see of me driving through Pungo. Stay with that segment to see Susie playing Tiffany Von Basketcase on a search for her pet armadillo, and a quick glimpse of the Creature that was created for us by Curtis Eaves. (If memory serves, that is Curtis inside the costume.) We'll have more of this adventure soon. If you visit the library, you'll find one of a series of rarely seen movie trailers in our on-going salute to stop-motion icon Ray Harryhausen. Up on the third floor in the magic study is some very rare footage of one of my magical heroes. This is a performer you might never have heard of, but who is considered by many experts to the the finest sleight-of-hand artist who ever lived. As you watch him doing difficult card manipulation, consider that he is wearing a pair of dress gloves. A trip inside the lab will take you along on one of our visits to the legendary Air and Space Museum's Halloween celebration. In the theatre this month you will find Friday Night Frights that span the entire history of the Madblood program, including one of my top favorites from the original series that airs over Memorial Day weekend. For details about each episode, check out Craig T.'s write-ups over on the NEW page. If you haven't been there lately, check out the Doctor Madblood channel on YouTube We've added more bloopers and the final chapter in our recent California adventures. More to come. Best Witches, |
